I do have a low standard for beaches though - since I love the ocean so much I think they're pretty much all awesome :) I even loved Koro which basically doesn't have sand beaches (just giant pebbles, which are awesome)

Oh oh a real kai Viti...I'd better watch it! Thanks for your comments. I'm going to have to make some corrections. Yep you're right about the Lomaiviti group as not being 'off Suva'. Don't know where that came from. I agree that except for Natadol…

Nausori's spelled wrong on the weather page! I think a lot of the numbers are supposed to have either degree symbols or % symbols. Also some of the descriptions don't make sense to me.. I wouldn't really describe the Lomaiviti group as being 'off…

Gotta shout with pleasure. Dan & Mika Leuck took my moribund, 14 year old Fiji Tourism website and completely regrooved it into a Web 2.0 wonder. Traffic has gone up 50% in just the last few weeks. I probably won't be able to retire off the adsense…

I think TechHui offers a wonderful platform/bully pulpit. I just got a note from Senator Fukunaga who had very good things to say about TechHui. PR-minded members should really take advantage of it.

How Not to Market in Tough Times

By now you’ve seen enough “Marketing Ideas for Tough Times” stories to make you puke. They offer the usual tried, true and hackneyed advice—"stay close to your customers, listen to your customers, review your strategies, be even more responsive to your customers," ad nauseam.

Like you don’t do these things already?

Hell, what you need is more cash flow. In you found some new customers, you don’t need to be told that it’s good to listen to them.

Local start up, Collateral Intelligence, plans to shake things up on Wall Street

Collateral Intelligence is sitting on a veritable toxic gold mine.

Its primary market is the institutions holding the $ trillion+ (yeah trillion with a “t”) of dicey real estate loans. Collateral Intelligence, based in Kaimuki (and… Continue

E komo mai Robert. It was nice meeting you last night. Dan asked me to mention Bill's HOT Ocean Sphere video and the Hawaiian Tech History forum.

The FAQ is a good place to learn about the site. You may want to join some of the interest groups such as New Media.

We hope you find TechHui useful and invite others. See you in the groups and forums.

BTW - I really like Obama's Neighborhood!
