I lived on Balboa Island for 10 years and we rode our bikes on the strand for many pub crawls to Sharkey's, Blackie's and Mutt Lynch's. So far I like Hawaii - I have been coming over here for many years and finally decided to move. It's quite a bit slower pace than LA and Orange County, but the trade off has been worth it. I get out and paddle outrigger canoes about 3 times a week and that always makes it clear for me why I'm here. Call sometime and we'll see what other LA connections we may have. Welcome to TechHui.
