Hawaiian islands would be a natural place to test EV technology - small, isolated, environmentally conscious, etc.. Would love to see these cars here soon and be a part of EV evolution :)

I am am curious and also afraid the the status-quo petroleum based auto industry will do everything in their power (yet again) to stop this project; much in the same way that they were able to literally spitefully sabatoge & kill the progress of their own baby, the General Motors Corp "Impact EV1" (prototype electric car introduced in 1990) from GM's Saturn Division. See the 2006 documentary "Who Killed the Electric Car?" narrated by Martin Sheen & directed by Chris Paine (SONY Pictures).

- Shai Agassi presents a viable business plan to introduce FREE quality robust electric powered vehicles (achieving hundreds of miles per swapable battery) that not only effectively compete but completely displace & eliminate fossil fuel based transportation vehicles for the worldwide market starting with Israel, Denmark, Ausralia, California and Hawai'i, then ultimately supplying the entire world with FREE high quality electric powered vehicles for everyone on planet Earth that would permanently transform the worldwide commercial transportation infrastructure that completely & permanently displaces potroleum-based fossil fuel vehicles. WOW, What a concept and what a powerful threat to the status quo in the petroleum industry! Talk about a disruptive technology!! Why didn't anyone think of this before?
