- Originally from South New Jersey, Hawaii resident since 1981. Former USAF computer operator, worked at Kaiser Permanente, The Honolulu Advertiser and Pacific Business News, I spent 10 years as a free-lance writer while raising my baby girls. I now write at HMSA, find myself immersed in social media, and want to do what I can to help the nontechnical embrace and understand how the technical can improve their lives.
