Just to check in with the energy group, this did cross the legislative finish line about 2 weeks ago and awaits the governors signing. It is my understanding that this will need to happen by July 15, or it will automatically become a law.

We are on the home stretch this legislative session for the solar aficionados of techhui and wanted to share with you this bill is in conference and will be meaningful if it passes.
It will allow folks in Hawaii that install solar photovoltaic systems a way to monetize the tax credit. This is pivotal, as the 35% credit has always been a great incentive, but difficult for anyone to use. By monetizing the credit @ 24.5% cash, it will create jobs ASAP and be a great vehicle to the road… Continue
