While at SDC Hawaii LLC I tried to explain the explosive upside to being connected to a TLD registrar (.mp), but it went over their heads. Now us little people may have the opportunity to make history while creating a "brand" of their own. I hear ...

For many, if not most ccTLDs, the market died off in 2008. Dot Asia is a notable exception. Perceived value and trading remains strong in ccTLDs connected to large populations with an affluent economy relative to say Tanzania's. Although interest ...

Send Your Message to Legislature

Hawaii Legislative Reference Bureau
Your best resource about the Hawaii State Legislature is the Hawaii Legislative Reference Bureau. It’s the go to place for senators and representatives when they have questions. The LRB website is an excellent place to track bills and resolutions. The Bureau is a nonpartisan legislative service agency that provides a wide variety of services to legislators, legislative committees, and members of the public.

Lobbying to protect Acts 221, 215 HI Tech Tax Credits

This year’s legislative session will prove to be critical for those of us who find the current tax credit laws integral to our development plans.
Georgia Skinner over at DBEDT had confirmed a number of weeks ago that the Lingle Administration was going to look at these Hi Tech industry tax credits in attempting to balance the state budget. Rumblings have also been heard from a number of Senators and Reps.
The Honolulu Advertiser ran an article on the upcoming budget and it contained this quote:… Continue

FADE

Fade

I see them fading, in and out. Must be the heat and the distance. My eyes aren’t what they used to be.

It was hot, but oddly, not humid. The two soldiers in sun faded tropical fatigues stood on the ridgeline; they were motionless. Their web gear was unbuckled and hung loose around their hips. Likewise, their hands hung empty; no weapons were slung from their shoulders. They were unarmed. The one on the right was tall and lanky, th… Continue

Dave,

Dan Leuck is trying to contact you to reschedule your lunch meeting today (12/17) at 1:30. He can't make it and doesn't have your number with him.

i would've picked "earthier" tones too, finished the scale, included halfnotes, and ... well, time constraints etc., there's a long list of hindsighted objections. withstanding that, and tonality aside, the experience is immediately rewarding, and it doesn't sound half as tin-y tinny? tinlike? when you're playing it. we had to kick people off of it so that others could try...so, overall, i liked that project.

nice reference. maybe like a visual theremin/armonica. trip an ir sensor, one in front of each tube, sends signal to midi, emits tone (C-A) via speakers. same trip sends signal to air pumps which send bubbles into the corresponding tube of glitter/water. tones' decibels vary in strength dependent upon proximity to sensor. closer = louder....this is likely way more information than you were looking for :) thanks for the interest! see you at the Chi.mp event!

Welcome Dave! You definitely have the funniest "About Me" on TechHui :-)

There are several interest groups you may want to join. If "International & Strategic Studies" includes Japan you may be interested in Business in Japan. We have several other members interested in mariculture including Bill Spencer. His HOT Open Ocean Ahi Farm is very interesting.
