Thanks for pointing out this article. For a decade I'm been arguing that most computer science graduates haven't been taught scientific methodology. This can be seen in many 'web shops' where 5 programmers in a room will have 5 (radically) different ideas on 'what is best'. Without science in the mix, it's a crap shoot, and all of us end up paying the price for the many non-scientific decisions the herd makes.
