Hey guys - There is a workshop coming up called Mastering the Expressive Digital Image - It will be held at the UH Manoa Campus, from Saturday, Oct. 31st to Sunday, Nov1st. It encompasses the entire digital imaging workflow, from camera capture through editing in Photoshop for image enhancement, and finally to the printing state. Participants learn effective camera use for differing file settings (photographing in Camera Raw and jpg), methods of color and tonal correction in Photoshop and an introduction to fine digital printing on Pacific New Media's wide format Canon printers.

Class sessions include lecture and demonstration, field work with a camera, hands-on editing in Photoshop, critique of work, and digital printing. Participants should bring a digital camera, capture cards for a minimum of 50-60 exposures, and a card reader. If you do not have a card reader, PNM can supply one. The class is co-taught by two of PNM`s core faculty, both of whom are highly accomplished in photography and digital imaging.
