Hawaii Public Radio presents the "Wayfinder" lecture series, featuring key visionaries who will propose innovative concepts for a better future for Hawaii and the world. Co-produced and hosted by HPR's Burt Lum and Beth-Ann Kozlovich, these free monthly lectures will begin at 6:30 pm in the Atherton Studio.
The first of these Wayfinder Lectures kicks off tonight with science education advocate and renowned navigator Nainoa Thompson. The second evening features social engineering expert James Koshiba on Thursday, August 20. And the third installment of the series will feature Paul Zorner, an expert in bioenergy research, on Thursday, September 17.
Admission is free, but reservations are suggested as seating in the Atherton is limited. 955-8821.
